I was born on the 12th of November, 1982 in a country town Kainsk ( today's Kuibyshev) lost among green marshes and vast solonetz steppes. When a little girl I was a great dreamer and now is, as far as I know. Aged 13 I came in a drawing school absolutely by chance and it became my home. I left the school but painting remained with me as my way of world reception and world creation, as my way of living.

"A painter is more than a hero - he creates worlds." It's too pompous, I think. He never does, simply each human being has a world within, but painters are a bit luckier than others - they can reveal their world for themselves and for other people and through the reception of their own world to find something new in our universe, something that is inaccessible for others. They can find and show it.

But I launched into a digression.

Well I don't like telling about my life. So there are only some facts: I graduated from Kuibyshev Pedagogical University three years ago. During my studies I continued to paint and since 1998 I have had five or six (don't really remember) personal art exhibitions, two of them took place in Novosibirsk, a lot of works were sold. Some of them are in America and Germany now.

In the year 2000 I began to make dolls. It was my long-cherished dream. Dolls bought in a shop seemed to me not alive - without character, with their dull, trite faces - they had nothing in common with real people. Aged eight I tried to make a rag-doll, but it was too difficult, the doll turned out awfully ugly. So I decided to wait till I would grow up and become more skillful. Now I'm grown up and make "living" dolls, nearly all of them resemble my friends and passing acquaintances. Doll-making gives me great pleasure and frankly speaking, it would be fine to dedicate the whole life only to painting and doll-making.

A painter has two lives and one of them makes the other, a painter has two hearts - one beats in a bosom another - at finger-tips, a painter has two souls - one reflects in mirrors and another in paintings, but the painter has the single destiny.
